What Do You Need to Know Before Starting Your Path to a Spanish University?

Before applying to a Spanish university, it is important to understand the main requirements international students usually need to meet.

  1. Spanish language. You will usually need at least a B2 level of Spanish. Some universities may require an official certificate, such as SIELE.
  2. University admission. You will need a valid admission score to access the degree program and university you have chosen. This score is usually obtained through the PCE exams organized by UNEDasiss. These exams assess your knowledge of specific subjects and are usually held between May and September, so preparation must be planned around those dates. UNEDasiss. There is no single mandatory level for all universities, but to study at a Spanish university and prepare for the PCE exams with confidence, at least a B2 level is usually recommended.
