I Don’t Know My Spanish Level

If you are not sure whether your level is A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, or C2, start with our general test. It includes questions from different levels and will help you get an initial idea of your Spanish proficiency.

General Spanish Level Test

If you already have an idea of your level, you can take one of our specific tests. Each test is designed to evaluate the main contents of that level and help you check whether you have mastered them.

A1 Spanish Test

Check whether you have mastered the basics of Spanish: greetings, introductions, basic verbs, everyday vocabulary, and simple structures. 

Recommended if: you are starting to learn Spanish or have studied very little.

A2 Spanish Test

Evaluate whether you can communicate in simple everyday situations: asking for information, describing people and places, and talking about simple experiences.

Recommended if: you already know the basics and want to know if you are ready to move toward B1.

B1 Spanish Test

Check whether you can communicate with some independence, express simple opinions, and deal with common everyday situations.

Recommended if: you can already hold basic conversations and want to improve your fluency.

B2 Spanish Test

Evaluate whether you can understand more complex texts, express ideas clearly, support opinions, and communicate more naturally.

Recommended if: you want to reach an upper-intermediate level or prepare to study, work, or live in a Spanish-speaking environment.

C1 Spanish Test

Check whether you have an advanced command of Spanish, with the ability to understand demanding texts, express yourself accurately, and use complex structures.

Recommended if: you already use Spanish confidently and want to refine your speaking and writing skills.

C2 Spanish Test

Evaluate whether you can use Spanish at a highly advanced level, understanding nuances, registers, and complex uses of the language.

Recommended if: you have very strong Spanish skills and want to check your ability to communicate with precision and naturalness.

Spanish Levels: From A1 to C2

  • B1 — Intermediate. You can deal with everyday situations, talk about experiences, and express simple opinions.
  • B2 — Upper-Intermediate. You can communicate more fluently, support your ideas, and understand more complex texts.
  • C1 — Advanced. You can use Spanish flexibly, accurately, and effectively in academic, professional, and social contexts.
  • C2 — Proficient. You can understand almost everything you read or hear and express yourself with great precision and naturalness.
